HTC One A9

The handset, which HTC claims is the best they've ever made, takes several cues from the design of previous products in the One line (although it also bears an obvious similarity to Apple's iPhones too). The handset features an all-metal body and sports a bezel-less 5-inch screen, with a resolution of 1080p.
On the software side, the company has collaborated closely with Google to make the One A9 the first non-Nexus phone to launch with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on day one, along with support for Android Pay and Now On-Tap. What’s more, any Android updates will be made available within 15 days of their release on the Nexus line.
On the hardware side, you can find the following under the hood:
  • 5" full HD AMOLED display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor
  • 2 or 3 GB of RAM
  • 16 or 32 GB of internal storage
  • SD card storage support for up to 2TB
  • 13MP rear camera with OIS
  • UltraPixel front camera
  • 2150mAh battery with QuickCharge 2.0
  • Fingerprint sensor
HTC is also going the extra mile with the phone's warranty, offering a free replacement for any accidental damage for the first 12 months, free of charge. A boon to tinkerers and geeks, unlocking the bootloader will not void the warranty, a first in HTC’s history.
The handset is available in four colours and international availability starts in November. In the US, the phone can be preordered directly from HTC starting today - a discount price of $399.99 is applicable for the first 24 hours. For those who want to try the phone before buying, the company is also offering a 30-day trial period for online purchases.
